The run down to Knotts Island is pretty good, but the last time I did it I got into trouble ( Police).  I have never taken the ferry. Did you come back across on the ferry?  Let me know next time you head down that way.  I would be interested in tagging along.

I like the ride down Princess Anne through Pungo and then down the island.  There was alot of northbound traffic and I got behind a GDV so couldn't take advantage of some of the nice curves.  I didn't take the ferry back--took 168 and slabbed it (boring) so i could get home before dark.  If there's a nice day after the holidays, I'm planning to take a run up the Eastern Shore and check out some of the small oceanside roads.  Maybe we could meet somewhere near the bay bridge for breakfast and then head out.

Woohoo got my computer back!  Whats new?  I just took ownership of my dads 99 zx6r, though it is in need of carb work/valves.  Now I can keep up with the rest of you Wink

Not mine. I have a 748.  Is it yellow? I don't think I have ever seen a yellow 749.

Angelo,
Anytime after X-mas, just lemme know.

There was a yellow 749 for sale at a dealer on Military a few months ago, maybe the new owner is in $$$ trouble, or maybe the dealer never sold it?

I'm back in the states, just on the wrong coast. Be back in Norfolk soon, tho. Maybe the weather gods will smile upon me when I get back, and we can get a ride up.

It is the same 749 on Military. The guy has had to come down off of it pretty hard. I know that Jeff went and looked at it and said that it was nice except like a brake lever or something. Most of you know my issues currently otherwise i would have this in the driveway today.

I'm tossing around the idea of possibly going to the International Motorcycle Show in DC 9-11 JAN.  First I want to try to see if it is big enough to be worth it. (see thread in CAM)  2 Guys from my office and I are tentatively thinking about driving up to DC very early on Sat and then coming back late.  Just giving you guys a heads up since we should have a couple of empty seats if anyone wants to join us.
Hey, this is next weekend!

Are we still going?

I was going to wait and see if anyone else rogers up.  Show opens at 9:30.  I was thinking 6-6:30 timeframe and if you are the only one probably some where closer to your house since I have to head in that direction any way.

Sounds good.
We'll firm this up as the weekend gets closer.
If it's just two, we can take the MINI if you want. Easier to park, and save on fuel.

I wanna go. Do you have room for one more? Sounds like a fun event. Have you guys ever been to one of these shows before? Let me know when and where to meet up.

Or we can put the MINI in the bed of my truck and take both  Grin

Will, sure there is room.  Never been to one before, but I figured it was worth a shot at least once.  http://www.motorcycleshows.com/

My co-worker can't make it.  So it looks like there is still one open seat.   LAST CALL, anyone else interested?

Norfolk still looks like a good central meeting place.  Jeff, can you recommend a place to meet since you are probably more familiar with the area than I am.
