Also- this Sat. 5/16, at Cycle Gear on Little Ck Rd. %10 off everything sale, special on Pirelli Diablo tires.
Hope to make it to the cook out- depending on what the wife has me doing. Thanks for the invite!

special on Pirelli Diablo tires.
Ordered a set online. Wasn't sure I would be able to make it to the store tomorrow. I called and they wouldn't let me reserve a set.
Based on weather, looks like tomorrow morning it going to be the OBX run. Will be back long before the cookout.

J.P. - Bring the wife along. Hope you can make it. Kids too, we're a kiddy wonderland here. Between the pond, the bunnies and the tortoises, our backyard is highly educational.
The tortoises got put into their outdoor enclosure today, they seemed a bit confused . It was fun to watch.
Gearhead Dave needs a set of tires for his 620. He gets back from his cruise tomorrow morning, I'll have to let him know.
XJ - I can't make it tomorrow. I'm booked solid. Auto auction in the morning, then meet a client , then clean the yard for the cook out. I might set up some kind of redneck cabana out back in case it rains.

I think the Cycle Gear deal is only on 180 and 190 rear.
I'll bring a EZ-up canopy for the rain. It is one of the smaller ones, 8x8.

Yup-at cycle gear, fine print reads(didn't even notice it)- for a set:
120/70-17 & 180/55-17 ---$189.98
120/70-17 & 190/50-17 ---$199.98
One of the guys there said they'll be open at 9, and the tires go fast.

But yeah, I'm serious about that 996 / 998. Found a few far away but nothing I like is very close...

FYI - Redline is "unleashing" the Street Fighter at Knuckleheads on Friday 6-9. I don't think I'm going because I saw it in DC, parents are in town, and my general boycott of Redline.

Kris, Thank you for the birthday cake!
My wife said it was "cute".
I think I might have to head down to Witchduck Friday night. Redline's website says they're giving test rides. I can't afford a streetfighter, but I could afford a free test ride.

I'm going to ride down to Knuckleheads and check it out as well Jeff. I plan to be there around 6:00-6:30 and will probably eat dinner there as well. Anyone else going?

I didn't know that they are doing test rides. My parents are in town, I may try to get my father to ride over there for a little bit.

We're getting a ride up for next weekend that's gonna end up in your neighborhood(Suffolk) Whyn't you ride with us, and show us your garage?
MikeD, great to meet you last night. You know I want a review of the Streetfighter after your test ride, right?
