anyone up for an offroad ride?

I'm trying to make it a few days long with camping and all the other goodies that come with playing in the dirt.

I started this thread in NMC, but decided to post to a couple of local forums for those that don't venture out.

yes that's a cry for help. I need help figuring out where to go and wouldn't mind a bit of company along the way.

haha, i asked on advrider and got 2 responses.

i'm not thinking of having it too big. maybe 4 people max.

i'm thinkign that if we do any clandestine camping along the trail 4 might be too much.

In that case, I think were set!  I'll hear back from my buddy soon.  I'm sure it wont be a problem since he is a die hard dirt rider.  Handles a ktm 640 adv better than I can take on my crf230  .  If for some reason we can't camp out, your welcome to stay at my house, I have 2 free rooms and a big garage to keep your ride nice and clean

I need the dates that you will be here.  My friend is up for a ride but in order for you to do a camp and ride, you'll need to pm blinkerfluid (my bud) or advridgerunner at advrider.com.  You'll have to ask advridgerunner if you can tag along for the camp and ride, since i'm not the one hosting it.  I work nights so we can go adv riding anytime!!!!  Let me know.

i've got 8/22-8/25 off. i can be down there the night o f8/21 if i can fanangle a place to sleep or pitch a tent.

are you on advrider too?

Yup, same name under advrider.  You can sleep at my house if you dont mind having a english bulldog licking your face.  Oh and a boston terrier...gfs dog.  I'll let my friend know, but you should pm the guys I mention to do a camp and ride.  Turns out I'll only be able to ride during the day because of work.   


I'll get back to you in the morning when I hear back from Jason (buddy).  The guy is always ready to ride!

i can sleep through a lot, and if the dogs don't mind my snoring then i'm ok with them.
