What a Huge Stinky Load of Crap.  Why create ill will rather than Just give both a Gold Medal.

Once again this is why I really dislike events where its purely up to the judges opinions.

Which is why i think hlaf the sports in olympics are bullshit. But if not the olympics, than where else can do it? Gymnastics isnt a popular sport for the common people outside of the olympics.

Did you hear the commentators say that the judges were from countries who have never won any medals so how can they really be experts in knowing what to look for?!

Yup. Atleast we had the class to not say anything about it. The ruleing was fair according to the rules set by the committee.  When they find out that girl is not really 16, she'll be stripped of her gold, and disgraced.

In MLB and NFL, the best officials are used for the World Series and Super Bowl.  You would think the Olympics could follow suit and get the best judges for each event.  ???  make the beast with two backsing judged events ALWAYS have controversy.

I've got to give some props to the american girl though. She put a smile on and took it like a man.

(unless they showed her crying later, I didn't see it...)

the best (most experienced) judges are from countries that have strong gymnastics programs. in an effort to remove national bias, they don't allow judges from the finalists' countries.

Okay back to Usain Bolt.

I was listening to the Commentators and they also think he was show boating and being disgraceful to the other athletes.

I thought I was just being a jerk judging him  ;D

Hell no, that guy is a cocky bastard! Sure, he's much faster than most of the guys on the track with him. But someone needs to inform him of this little thing called showmanship...

Hey, he slowed down and beat his chest......hey, he slowed up and looked around (at all the guys he was ahead of, no need to look around if you're behind people) Hey he seems to be a bit cocky.   :'( :'( [roll]

The other day one of the US Female runners was being interviewed about training and diet. When asked what she missed most, she said  [bacon] [bacon] "I can eat a whole pack".   [thumbsup]

At first, but she was crying a river when she was alone in a corner.  Poor sexy girl.
