I just talked to a buddy of mine who was running a tv camera at that fight...

He said the Cuban guy warned the ref three times that if he raised his arm one more time (evidently some sort of DQ signal), that he was going to kick him in the head.

Stupid basketball...
The US is always up against two teams.  Whoever they are playing and whoever is officiating it.  What a make the beast with two backsing mess.

Ridiculous.  I just watched a highlight for the Spanish team where the assist was made player that took roughly twelve steps. Awesomeo.

Big deal if he was opnely "out" before!  [roll]  Maybe other gay olympians (like Greg, etc.) wanted it to be about their acheivment and not who they choose to love.   [roll]

Anyway, Ping Pong..saw that yesterday.  Looks to me like they almost roll the ball off their arms before they serve.  What is the reason for that serve..to get a better spin on the ball??

i think greg had his own reasons for not coming out that had nothing to do with whether he was in the olympics or not.

Do they keep the paddle close to maybe conceal what type of spin it will be??

Seems like such a small movement when they serve.
