I hate to admit it, but this "microclimate" ain't leaving California. Dallas could have the same weather if it only had the Pacific Ocean at its doorstep. This huge fog bank stands off shore here. At night, when the land cools off, it rolls it, depositing moisture. Nights and mornings are foggy and cool; then as the sun gradually burns off the fog, it turns to cloudy and cool; finally turning sunny and cool right around midday. The sea breezes continue to blow inland in the afternoon through that fog bank, acting as a colossal natural evaporative cooler until the sun sets. And repeat.

This hotel doesn't even have A/C, you don't need it here. The front desk clerk told me that they might get a few days of heat in September. My guess is, the wind stops blowing for a few days then.

I don't know, but having all four seasons makes me
appreciate each one.
The grocery stores in California have the best fresh
food I've run accross. Good resturants ($$$) and
awesome sushi waytogo

That sounds like the weather right in San Francisco. I've been to Laguna Seca twice and it was HOT!! Sounds great. Have a good time out there.

Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry

my feelings are hurt.  I tried to move back to Mexico but they met their quota of gringos.  I think they still have a bad taste in their mouth from when you settled there.

Ditto. How about spelling correctly for a change in a post? It's called spell check. Look into it. Besides, who said you can tell folks to not complain about the heat? It's Texas. It's summer. It's hot. Duh.... Zzzzzzzz.
