[whiny voice on]  Can we please go somewhere else???  The service was awful and I didn't think the pizza was that great (especially for the price).  [whiny voice off]

I thought the Mellow Mushroom's food was good, but the service had to be the worst in Ft Worth....
Joe T's was a horrible Idea for as many people as we had the last time.  I know I heard many complaints from the table......

Truth is, many places will have problems providing good service with such a big party.  I think Mellow Mushroom's service was bad for some, and good for others that night.  Eat inside at a table for 6, and it's fine.  But I digress...

I think Joe T's was just an unfortunate event due to the incliment weather.  Had we been out on the patio, I think service would have been a little better for such a large party.

Bottom line is - there's only going to be a handful of places (IMHO) that can provide good service for a party of 20+.  Those types of places already have rooms and wait-staff equipped for dealing with that.  Generally, places prepared for large parties cost a little more - that's my experience. The other alternative, is going somewhere that it's serve yourself, such as Hard 8's or anyplace without a wait staff.  I just think that with big parties, you have to expect less than "usual" service.  However, I completely disagree with any establishment that automatically adds on gratuity for large parties and then proceeds to provide shotty service.

/soapbox off/

So.... my vote goes for McDonalds.  It's serve yourself and they have a playground!
