Kyna and I are going to Sal's to check things out tomorrow night.  We will be there around 8:30-9ish if anyone is interested in meeting up.

Just to add some incentive - Rumor has it that Sal's has the BEST NY style pizza you'll find west of the Mississippi.  Plus it's always good to support a fellow DMFer.

The Pizza was great!  Real NY style.  The garlic knots were pretty good as well.    The flat screen TV's with sports on was a real plus as well.
I strongly suggest that all you cow's stop by.

I was a huge fan of the garlic knots.  I could have just eaten those all night and been perfectly content.  Sorry we missed you Beck.  I was really interested to hear how a guy from Brooklyn landed in Hartford.  Hopefully we'll see you next time we make it out there.

Ducatiloo and myself just stopped by at Sal's yesterday.  I will have to say the pizza was out standing!  Kyna, you were right, the garlic knots rule as well!  Next time I go I plan on trying a sandwich and maybe even a canoli.  They give you a lot of food, really making it hard to save room for dessert! I give it two thumbs up!  waytogo waytogo
