The Monster got it's oil changed yesterday. I'm going to do a slight mod to the clip-ons and raise the front just a bit. The rear is very stable now and the rear ride height was raised a bit so that, in turn, effectively dropped the front  shortening the trail. That shows up as a tiny bit of wiggle in the front when leaned over at 60 mph. Raising the front should fix that.

So, I'm going for it. Both bikes will be up for sale. Don't get me wrong, the Suzuki is an absolutely great bike but it doesn't kick my wheels like the Ducati does. If the Monster doesn't sell then so what. I'd be perfectly OK with that and would still be happy just modding away. I don't think the list ever stops.

Sell the MacMonster?   So some weirdo would have that wonderful piece of kit?  Oh well; do what makes you happy mang.

My weekend disappeared entirely.  Friend in from Australia convinced  me to spend some quality time out.  A few hours at the beach, Mortons with him and Teddy, then hours on the toilet.  It wasn't what we had planned necessarily.  Still a good steak though.

So do I take it that you took Anne's bike for a ride?

Nope. I've been watching a lot of You Tube instead.  I've also been watching Craigslist & Ebay plus checking the used inventory of a few west coast dealers. I think that South Seas still has that 999S too. They weren't real approachable yesterday at 1630 as they were in shut down mode. Lots of options are open.

The bottom line is that if I end up keeping the Monster I'm all good with that. I've decided that as good as the 750 is I still have more fun on the 900. Go figure.

Think you can wait until I get back to make your move, that way we can try to get a "group discount"?

Let's see how it goes. Both bikes hit Craigslist this afternoon. Of course, that has little bearing as to when, or if, they might sell.......

Tried to swim today, against my better judgment.  My shoulder held up okay for a little while, but once it went bad, it went fast.  I dunno.

Now, I am hungry.
