Speed 3 Pilot

Quick ride from my place to 13 turns and Norfolk and back...ran into a fellow autocrosser on his Buell 1125 at 13 turns, he was looking for Norfolk so I showed him the way... ;D

Stopped at the lookout at Waimea & watched the big surf until the bacon-pregnant dog came & jacked me for being in no parking.

Me:  I'm not parked, I'm just standing here watching the surf.
Bacon pregnant dog:  What's that thing between your leg's?
Me: Oh that, that's my wheelchair.
Bacon pregnant dog:  Show me a handicap sticker & you can stay.
Me:  Sheesh - Merry Christmas to you too.

Drove through the sand at Lani's where the waves were over the road last night.  Snake road and home by 09:00.  All wet roads just a slippin' and a slidin'.

Speed 3 Pilot

Helped my son with the suspension on his car today,  nothing like rolling around on the carport floor under a car on jackstands for a few hours... ;D

I should have ridden that bike from the get-go just so I could compare the differences. Considering that I would still characterize the throttle response as somewhat twitchy I can't imagine what it used to be like. I'd like to get a ride on a Streetfighter just to compare the two. I'll be getting a ride on another Superduke later today or next weekend. The guy that has that one says it has pipes and a remap but that it doesn't act at all like how I describe Ben's bike. However he also has a modified for the street supermotard racer which has an almost all or nothing throttle that makes Ben's bike seem tame.
No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori.  Good people drink good beer.  Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.

It's all up to your will level, your thrill level and your skill level.  Everything else is just fluff.

just went by your house, now off to Jamba Juice. Who's SD is it? I'd be curious to see what pipes/map he has on it...

Speed 3 Pilot

Early ride to Haleiwa and back via snake road, Kunia road and coffee at my daughter's house in West Loch...

Something very peaceful about lying down under a car. I actually fell asleep and took a nap there after changing the guibo.

Other than finding out that 3 reservoirs I ordered for the Monster will not fit, I ordered more parts for it...finally ordered the CW fender eliminator, LED turn-signals (front & back), headlight bracket (so I can lower the gauges and headlight), and I still have the new exhaust and belly-pan waiting to be installed...So definitely will have a busy weekend whenever I get the bike back...
...and hopefully I can get new (to me) wheels the first week of Jan

I saw the reservoirs over on the other thread...if they will work on my SC, I might just take them off your hands!
