what made you stray from the speyside?

Actually I really like those and the Highland malts.  I just happened to have someone give me the Laphroaig for Christmas.  Looks like I'll have to go out and buy my own bottle.
No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori.  Good people drink good beer.  Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.

It's all up to your will level, your thrill level and your skill level.  Everything else is just fluff.

what still weirds me out are the ones that get too much on the waxy/oily side.

It is, as they say, an acquired taste.   [roll]

Went down to "the shop" and helped Rick take some db readings on his 848...while there, took a spin on Ben's SD 990, cool bike, feels much more nimble than the SF...

Prepped the last bedroom for painting this morning...quick ride to snake road and back just before lunch, beautiful day...

Surprised you didn't see us, as we were probably on our return leg from NS about that time.  Was traffic still all dicked up on the H2 when you went up that way?

Speed 3 Pilot

I went up via Kunia Road and returned via Kam Hwy...I hate H-2 , especially coming back this way...

Sorry I missed riding with the group as it's always fun, but I just didn't feel like making a day of it...took two naps this afternoon...sometimes I hate this getting old sh*t, but the alternative isn't one I want to face for awhile yet... ;D

Thanks for the help Gene. I think I've got the exhaust note dialed in now and it seems to be a good compromise between stock quiet and Termi full roar.

Had a really good ride with the guys yesterday. I should go to a superbike school. Need to work on those right hand turns. Funny. Every day is different in it's own way when it comes to the feel of the bike and the road. It's the same road and the same bike yet somehow it's different.

About that SD990. One man's nimble is another man's twitchy.   [laugh]

Glad to have been able to lend a hand with your exhaust "tuning"...

As far as riding the SD goes, it made me think that I need to dial in the suspension on the SF...I've just been riding it as it was delivered, after checking that the compression and rebound were in the "normal" settings per the manual...
