Due to the rain yesterday I ended up cleaning house and finding old bike parts to put up for sale, including a rear disc from the old Monster that can be used on the 620. (Stick tongue out to those doubters). Took pictures of said items and posted to my PhotoBucket account to get ready for Craigslist & eBay & DMF sales.

Watched recordings of Infineon Superbike race and watched end of Amgen Tour of California. Hell, those guys go up hills faster than I sprint on level ground.  :o  :o

Went to Robin Hood with Gloria. I liked it better than Iron Man 2 (except for the part where the drunken young service dude passed out in the row in front of us and puked on seat.  :P  :P  :P

Then had a good spaghetti dinner. So, not too shabby, except no  [moto]

ran on the treadmill for a while. my feet are sore. lol

i have a question, might be kinda stupid cuz i've never read about it anywhere.... but i had a random thought.

bf's going to ceramic coat my exhaust headers. would it be weird if i had him coat the actual cans?

eltristo

I don't see why it would be a problem, as long as he's not trying to coat the baffles.  But then, I don't know much about these things.

I know absolutely nothing about the actual process of ceramic coating but if it involved any kind of dipping in solution then it could be a problem due to the internal packing and catalytic converters that are inside the cans. Dunno. Looks like a homework research project.

If you are going to take the headers off the cylinder heads I have the gaskets somewhere if you want them and the copper nuts too I believe.

Went to get my inspection since it'll be up at the end of the month, for my truck, just to find out that my tires won't pass.  Didn't realize how bad they were until the guy pointed it out.  Not looking forward to spending $500-$700 that  Ireally can't afford right now.  >:(

Also, still haven't had the funds to fix my Duc.  Double :'(

Been a crappy week so far...

he said it's a spray on, but he'll be doing his exhaust header first. we'll see how it turns out, then maybe i'll let him near the bike. he's done a couple power coating stuff and they turned out decent. i might hand over my rear sets for shits n giggles.... or maybe my passenger pegs first... idk, he said to make up my fkn mind. lol.

almost forgot. this morning i got flipped off by a chic on a cruiser.

i took the bike into work cuz it needed safety check. on the stretch going frm schofield to kam hwy, i'm approaching traffic don't see brake lights and i can see the cars are moving. soon i realize the bike isn't. since the road was wet from the rain, i decide it would be better to just go around the bike. as i pass, i realize the bike was stalled and she was trying to start it, that's why there weren't any brake lights. she proceeds to speed up to me before i get off, just to flip me off.

i'm like wtf. if i had tried to stop, i could have taken her out in the process.  [bang] case in point, i had my rear wheel slip sliding at the next intersection... enough to make me shit my pants a lil. but i have a strange feeling, if it were a guy... he wouldn't have given a shit.  [roll]
