Got my 57 year-old mom to go skydiving with me this afternoon. Great. Now she wants to go again tomorrow.
Did I ever tell you the story about the Zen master and the little boy?

Too bad we couldn't work that same magic to get the crazy old coot to axe his baffles.   ;D

Spent about two hours down at the dog park earlier today, and DAMN if there aren't a lot of pretty ladies down there.  Keeping Darmah is panning out to be one of the better decisions I have ever made.  So glad I kept her instead of the wife.  ;)

very happy to see that you are enjoying yourself over there [thumbsup]. and please feel free to take and post pics of said pretty ladies.  [drool]

we had the typical guy crossing the yellow line. the lady that reminded me of robert, she was loading the magazine w/ the wrong hand and turned the gun so it was pointing at the guy next to her. then someone from our group was shooting the hollow tiles that are the end of the berm. that's just the stuff we got yelled at for. the ROs tend to watch us, but in a way it's good. we had our hands full yesterday.

Sounds like some of the clowns I used to work with...during qualifying/tactical training sessions I've observed people reloading magazines and chambering rounds with officers down range, tripping and falling down while carrying a loaded weapon, pointing weapons at others and just being oblivious to range safety and safe weapons handling...all of this after countless safety lectures...

I was handling a S&W model 59 one time in our house many years ago. The clip was out of the gun and no round in the chamber and all four people in the living room knew it was empty. I happened to pass the nose of it across the path of a Navy Seal but didn't have the barrel raised at him. I still got knocked down and had the riot act read to me. I have never been unconscious regarding gun safety since then.

It's all up to your will level, your thrill level and your skill level.  Everything else is just fluff.

Signed up for the Honolulu Marathon (only $45...so I couldn't pass it up!). So that gives me six months to train for that distance...longest so far has been a 10k...should be fun!

Woke up, walked the dogs, went to vet to pick up Rx for older dog's infection, came back home to watch F1 race....
Went to groccery store with wife, came home made lasagna and had some wine... Chianti of course, tomorrow, back to slavery...
