...and the fact that ducati's goal w/the 1098 was to make it a competitive price point.

I was fine w/the SBK being so esoteric. Undecided

Spotted on Cooke St. today at around 5:15 pm heading mauka ---  a girl on a 620/750/800 Dark --- twin upswept pipes on either side (like my bike) but these were carbon cans. Looked like they might have been Leo Vinces. Black wheels with single disc front. I was walking the dog and he wouldn't go fast enough for me to get up the street to get a closer look when she stopped at the light.

No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori.  Good people drink good beer.  Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.

It's all up to your will level, your thrill level and your skill level.  Everything else is just fluff.

Not really an island sighting, but saw a pair of HypermotardS's and a 1098R while having dinner in Georgetown.  Lots of really flash cars too.

A1098R cruising in town? Worthless, rich poseur. You know what I mean?  He should be taken out and shot.

It's been doing the Kona day rain thing here so you didn't miss out on much this weekend.

Taken out and shot?  You weren't drinking when you wrote that were you?  Wink

And yes, it was just cruising the strip.  Kind of like when you see all those Aston Martins and Ferraris cruising around in Waikiki.

Whether or not I had been drinking is immaterial.

For emphasis, pretend you hear a German accent "Zey shuud be taken ze oot und shot."  It's my German and Russian genes coming out.  Wink

Wow! You mean there is actually someplace where 20, or more, Monsters meet up weekly? Nah, you have to be kidding.  Huh?

NOSIR!!  Much too important of a thing to kid about, and as unbelievable as it may seem, there is a place such as this.  Rhodeside Grill in Rossalyn VA is that place.  Wink

Uhm, yea.  I'll get right on that.   Roll Eyes
