I saw one of the new '10 1198S's when I was down there this morning.  White on red frame, with black trim.  Thing looked SICK!

I met him at SSD awhile back...IIIC, the exhaust looks very similar to the one MotoWheels put on their Streetfighter...it's got quite a bark...

I told him about the Ducati rides originating at SSD several months ago...kinda surprised he hasn't been out, cause he told me he would "try to make the next one" which was then a week or so away...I think that was the day we went on a Saturday vice Sunday...

yeah he told me that some guy named mark hand crafted the pipes. apparently he worked for some racing divsion for ducti in the states or something like that ... it was hard for me to hear him with all the bikes and cars wasting gas.

Saw a black 1198S with red frame on the floor at SSD this morning, awesome looking bike...heard they sold another white SF recently, so that should make 2 whites & 2 reds on the road...

Ran into the owner of another white SF today while down at SS getting the final safety check done on the SD.  Guy was in there getting the rear tire swapped out and had some funky wear issues... 

They've got LOTS of Ducs on the floor down there at the moment.  Looked like three 1198s (one was an S), three SF's (one was an S), an 848 or two and a couple of monsters.

something like two hours sleep, i'm still cranky, hate everything about this place that isn't my paycheck, and I got randomly selected to participate in a focus group today on the command climate at 0900.

should be an interesting morning.
