MadDuck

Saw a white 848/1198 coming down the Pali into town yesterday afternoon. (I was headed the other way to Kailua) -- guy had a yellow jacket (maybe, maybe not) and definitely a yellowish helmet with some sort of headdress on top. Double feathers or double spikes?
No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori.  Good people drink good beer.  Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.

It's all up to your will level, your thrill level and your skill level.  Everything else is just fluff.

Had a good ride yesterday with these bikes:

Ben's KTM

And Frederick's Monster (does it look sorta familiar?)

Rick & Ben,

I enjoyed riding last Saturday with you both.
I realize now what a "slowby" I am !! [roll]

I also liked looking at that 2005 999s at South Seas
I would like to have it...but I am more of a neighborhood kind of rider
and I know it wouldn't like the cramped spaces it would inhabit with me.

I look forward to getting out with you guy's again.

Frederick
My people skills are just fine.
It's my tolerance to idiots that needs work.

Don't worry about it. I wouldn't exactly call you slow. In my regular group I'm usually in the back of the pack. It's all relative.

I know where you might find a 999 for relatively cheap but it needs a bunch of work. Fortunately, I also know someone with lots of spare parts for it and who knows how to work on it.

Within one week of having owned one I figured out that it hated traffic more than any other bike I have ever ridden. I also figured that if I was going to die on a bike that one would be the one to kill me.  [laugh]  In the end I loved it enough to wish that I hadn't sold it but I also hated it enough that I didn't overly regret that I did. It just simply drove me to where I am today.  [moto]

Red Monster (not sure exactly which model) w/ high mount Termis, heading west on H1 around Kalihi area this morning. Black helmet, black leather jacket.  [moto]

Saw a white E31 840ci too (driving like a loon though).

DRKWNG

It was good meeting you as well Frederick.  I would say that you are welcome to come out riding with us anytime, but those days are getting kind of numbered for me.  It was really good to see that monster back out on the road again too.   [thumbsup]

Wonder who that could be...

And for today, saw a 620 Multi-noodle Dark parked at work this morning.

I wonder if that's sam's (possibly ex-) stroodle?

Thanks for the kind words Mac!!
Yeah, I like the look of a 999 or any superbike for that matter , but finances & type of riding I do make no sense for me too even consider one!!
But, I am about to embark on a new "Green" business venture & if it takes off I think a Red Streetfighter would be 1st of my list of new buys!! [thumbsup]
