Anyone else interested in doing this trackday on 9/01?

Ridesmart is holding this one at Texas World Speedway.  Cost is only $100 for the whole day.  That's cheap.
I believe a a few of us have already signed up or planning to sign up for it.  Just wanted to see if we can get our own little Ducati pit area going again.

I'm in.  I'm assuming all the info on how to sign up is on TWS website?

Anyone have a good instructional DVD or video regarding improving one's track riding skills?  The one lesson I learned the last time I was on the track is not worry about riders behind me, which was very different the street riding.  Also, I kept fixated on the guy in front of me rather than looking towards to where I want to turn. Things little things helped.

I think I still have Vinucci's book, Total Control. I'll look for it and get it to you. It's an easy read and has plenty of good instructions on how to improve your riding skills.  [moto]

Yep, one big oval with only left hand turns.  Roll Eyes

It's an old NASCAR track that has a Moto track in the infield and does utilize part of the old track as a long straight. As Matador stated it does have sweepers, but having done a handful of trackdays there myself I would say it's got a good mix of technical turns, fast corners and long straights.

You thinking of coming out? It's not far from the capital city.  popcorn

Congratulations..........I guess that sucks for you.  Huh?

It's sometimes described by the regulars as a "very fast Sunday morning ride out in the countryside".
