Took my duc in for tire installation at ssd, asked to check for popping when roll off on throttle. No one called me back when tires are done, now it's sitting in the bay for the weekend.

Well that sucks...for what it's worth, I never wait for a call back...for what it's worth #2, they're probably working on a diagnosis for your popping problem.

I have work to do at the shop too. Took the Boxer Cup in for a safety check today and had battery problems that consumed most of the afternoon. Thus other work did not get done and it needs getting done.

I'll probably go for an early ride in the morning, what time are you going to be at the shop?

Did the usual windward and North Shore stuff, with stops to say hello to MD and to check out bikes at SSD and SS Waipahu.
The yellow 848SF at SSD has been sold...they now have the stealth black 848SF and a newly received red one, which according to Bill are $15k OTD. They also have a Hyper SP for $15 plus fees...all too rich for my blood.
SS Waipahu has no Speed Triples in stock and don't expect any until October.
Looks like I'll be keeping the SF for a bit longer...I did manage to show some restraint on today's ride, but it wasn't as much fun as when you guys are along...

Watched Wimbledon Men's final in the morning, followed by work then cleaned house. A productive day, but rather ride instead.

Got the word today for next Sunday. All hands on deck to help with cycling road race out around North Shore & Pineapple Road. No meet & ride that day for me.

On the other note, SSD called me that my bike was ready for pick up in Monday morning. I asked about how come no one called me on Saturday, answer was " I wasn't sure why.", Asked about if anyone checked the popping issue, "No, we did not."
I called on Tuesday to inform them that I can't pick up on Tuesday and will pick up on Saturday, they said:" Oh, it was ready on Saturday..."
