Sunday looks like it may be a nice day for a ride, albeit a bit windy...

Being faster than you thought possible…it feels good. No, screw that—it feels like shotgunning a gallon of adrenaline and chasing it with an all-night orgy aboard a burning Viking boat.

We got to hoon around a bit today, dodging rain showers.  Winding our way through town to the freeway I gassed it a bit too much ( or just perfect if you will ) & got the front wheel up a couple of inches whilst leaned over.  Evil  Played zoom-zoom out to Waipahu and watched the east side of the island disappear under rain. Out to Wailua and back and it was still raining in town. Took us down Kunia road to stay dry and by the time we got back to Waipahu you could see Diamond Head again. I knew Gene could get home dry but I was going to take my chances going around Sandy Beach. By the time I got to the Pali turn off it looked like there might be a gap at the top of the valley so I went for it. Halfway up to the tunnels the road got about as wet as it could get without actually raining and so made it into Kailua. Got gas & while waiting to turn left towards home up by Castle Hospital I watched another shower go by Olomana and it just passed by the time I got up to Norfolk. Raining in Waimanalo too so I ended up shooting through another no rain gap.  Dolph Dolph

Ended up lowering the front suspension on a 696 for a client of Goto Construction.  Then showed the S1000R to the only guy in 7 months that has shown enough interest to come & see it. Just as I was taking the ad off CL.  Don't know if he's going to go for it or not but the ad is down now anyway.
