Raining in Mililani, which is a real shocker.  That's okay, cause we have a brunch date anyway.

With a sauteed pineapple?  Wink

It's raining off and on here, but Emile says it's nice downtown area.

I'm calling it a wash from this side. Been raining on & off all morning and the roads are all shiny wet. Saw the Koolaus close out twice in 30 minutes. Total rain along the whole range. It would let up a bit and then go again. Nothing nice coming from upwind off the ocean either. There are broken rocks off of some road sides on Norfolk that are just sitting out in the road. When I came through the Waimanalo ride of Norfolk yesterday there were lots of grass & shrub clippings out all over the road in most of the first corners. Just like whoever was doing the yard work there purposely aimed the lawnmower grass vent at the road.  Tongue

Ya'll going out this morning?  I am trying to figure out how to buy tile for an emergency bathroom repair and ride at the same time.  It must be possible.

I'm sure there will be people down there.  The weather forecast doesn't look great, but I'm going to make the attempt all the same.

What did you do to the bathroom?

We've known it needed help for a little while, but now I see water trying to bulge into my kitchen, and I'm leaving town for six weeks, so time is tight.

Wife drives, and has arguably better taste in decorating than you.  Wink

Arguably is right - essentially every decision that has been made in this house was made by this guy  waytogo

Jen is not a decision maker - nor do I see her as willing to buy and carry a bunch of tile, not to mention a toilet, sink, and cabinet.

I'm waiting for an appropriate time to wake her and figger this out.

So you are looking to buy the entire bathroom, not just the tile.  Sounds like fun.  Wink

Not looking forward to doing that sort of work when I finally buy a place in DC.

Well, I have a guy coming in to start tile on Friday afternoon - all of that stuff has to come out to do the work, so we might as well replace it, eh?

The wife is up, the word is in.  Shopping is to be done in the morning so she can go see her friend this afternoon.

What about my needs?

You should have known your needs were irrelevant as soon as you asked her.  Wink
