just a few quick pictures showing how i moved the regulator and horn after removing the lower fairing.  also gives a good idea of what it looks like for anyone who is curious....

im still deciding if i like it or not...it definently gives the bike a more "monster" look.  i may order the euro right side shroud/fairing just to have incase i change my mind.  at least it would be balanced looking then.

on a side note:  the bike seems to consitantly run cooler temp wise by about 1 bar in all riding conditions.  probably due to the added airflow around that front cylinder as it was almost completely covered before!

first picture is just a funny mural on a store i stumbled across here in charlotte.  laughingdp too funny if you ask me.  i was so scared someone with a gun was gonna walk up and steal my bike so i was quick with the pics LOL.

while im here and i have you looking at this pic...what do you think about that oil/fluid leaking from whatever that seal is.(my first ducati so forgive my ignorance) the bike is going in for its first service wednesday so i will point it out to them then.  i was surprised to see that when i took off the little fairing.

here are a couple closeup pics of the underside of the bike showing how i remounted the bits and pieces that were attatched to the fairing.  i may try to redo it a different way, but the wiring for all of it is pretty tight so i dont have much slack or room to work with.

hope someone finds use of this!

The regulator sticks out like a sore thumb now.  Perhaps it could be painted black in order to make it disappear.

i am thinking about doing that now that you say so, but it really doesnt look that noticable in person.  its so bright and in your face in these pics because it was dusk and i was using the flash which highlights just about everything.

Looks good! You did a neat job of it. I like the look either way. I think this mod might appeal to some of the monster purists who don't like the new design. Cute dog too.
