It is irresponsible.  Don't do it.  In this case, you are mixing two high prey-drive dogs.  Recipe for problems?  Maybe.  You say your friend is an 'animal lover'?  Doesn't sound like it.

hey sinister, i'm not going to make a habit out of this. i have no interest in breeding anything...well except for maybe breeding my own children one day 

i meant that i've just recently heard about this cross breeding thing, not that i'm just "getting" into it.
well, he IS an animal lover and i don't believe he had any bad intentions when he did it. i'll have to defend him as he's not here to defend himself...

i appreciate your concern TJ...but money is not the intention of dave. he's the biggest animal lover you can meet as well as i. he'll end up staying here or with the father. he and i (seperately) have rescued a few animals in the past. i agree with spaying/neutering. i haven't talked to him about it yet but i was going to ask him about it.
