Hello from Louisiana

Hello everyone:
I've been a member of the DML for years but never posted. With the discovery of this board, I thought I'd introduce myself. I'm Brian, an architect, and have been riding since June ... of 1969. My wife has been a rider since childhood and understands my obsession.  Currently I own several bikes which are:
2002 Honda CBR600F4i
2001 Honda CR80
1987 Yamaha YSR80
1972 Yamaha RD350
1970 Kawasaki H1500
1970 Honda Minitrail 50
None of which are a Ducati.  I've lusted over the Monster ever since its introduction, have no worries about reliability anymore and can do my own maintenance.  So it seems that a purchase of the S2r1000 seems imminent (just as soon as we finish construction of our new house and workshop). I liked the way the DML was and hope for the best with the DMF.
