so as you know (if not, feel sorry for you), tandem riding is the best to way to get close to chicks you barely know.
usually she will just grab your waist both hands first time. you know that's not safe at all.
she will eventually wrap her arm around your waist and rest her head on your back.
you can stop at red light fast sometimes too ;D
anyways, I have 998 monoposto. this chick would love to ride it.
maybe I can carry her just around the block since there is no footsteps :(
I am seriously thinking about switching to monster which is more comfortable ride for tandem riding.
I have two solutions for you:
1. make her sit on the cowl
2. Buy another bike
When I was at SXSW in Austin, I saw countless choppers with the ladies sitting on the back fender
One of the reasons I got my own bike was that my boyfriend at the time only had a monoposto bike.
I'd recommend getting a different bike for two-up riding (something known to be comfortable) if it's important to you.
Chicks are small, fluffy baby chickens. Easy to fit on any bike.
You must be talking about a woman, female, or girl. [thumbsup]

Nooo. I am pretty sure he meant chicks, as in hot naked chicks.

this OP's posting reminds me of my old chauvenistic cro-magnun ex roomate who dared to ask a room full of feminists "why do chicks think I am sexist?"
There is a reason there are no rear pegs! The subframe is not designed to take that much wait... [bang]

Bingo.
she is pretty fit. I think she wears probably size 2.
come on, if she was above average, I wouldn't even offer her a ride lol
yeah I will see if I can just let her sit on the cowl and drive few miles just for the experience
i think the operative word "mono" is very important here. its not made at all for "bi" postal riding.
seriously get a different bike, your bike is not made for 2 up riding.
zoom, that is hilarious... no way someone did that, but it had to at least be funny seeing the reactions .
Bungee cords.
stop giving them rides on your bike and do it properly.

+1, i know someone who gave a girl a ride on a monopostal. shit wasnt the same after that. she was only 110lbs too.
WARNING WILL ROBINSON!! TROLL APPROACHING!!
I can't believe I'm going to reply to this thread seriously considering the OPs attitude, but:
All of the 748/916/996/998 bikes can be swapped over to a biposto setup. You need:
-Biposto subframe
-Rear footpegs
-Biposto tail w/seat
Usually you can score biposto setups pretty cheap. I'd say maybe $250ish for the lot.
Good luck. I think.
I wish I could remember the exact old school saying explaining the difference between mono and bi to newbs, but it is something like:
Biposto = hand job
Monoposto = sore arm
;D
mitt
wow.
you'll get even more chicks if you throw a big 300 rear tire on it and some neon. also, go to bikenights where you're the only ducati, it'll be super sick.
Just in case if other people here wanna join in the fun as well ......
This "chick" that you wanted to carry, ..... do you know whether she's a 'mono' or 'bi'?
she can ride my 'monoposto', if you know what I mean. ;D

So......you only offer rides to below average women?

Word from the wise...
Stay away from the ones with mono.
[laugh]
I <3 this thread.
FWIW... and somethat on topic... Most Mono bikes run an aluminum rear subframe instead of a steel one. Not good to throw too much extra weight on there or it'll bend or crack on you. Then it'll make your below average rider feel fat. You don't want that on your shoulders.

Sweetie it's not your fault the subframe bent-it's all that heavy gear!
C'mon-let's get you out of those heavy things.

Wait.... this guy does liposuction? ;D
[popcorn]
I have a biposto 998 and I'd be happy to swap tail and subframe for your mono parts.
Just don't try to give anyone a ride on the mono -- no parts to block feet from the tire and chain, and the plastic tail section is both slippery and not designed to carry weight.
like this, obviously

Is that the size two with the sunglasses?
not fair. tiny only counts as a halfposto. That's monohalfposto at best.

No that's size, you'll never have that sitting on your lap ever. :D

+ a few zip ties you'll be all set.
I bet it'll end up like this:

Seriously.
I dwarf a Hyper and Tom looks like a perfect fit. Man that guy's short...and rich :-\
you can do it with the mono....just scooch up as far as your junk allows and have her climb on and wrap her legs around your waist...so her does don't get caught in the wheel. [laugh]
