I didn't post it to ridicule fat folks, I posted it because I am really surprised to see someone who so clearly is obese on a sport bike going to the track. I'm no lightweight, but the physical challenges associated with riding are multiplied by whoknowswhat for a guy like that.
I mean... More power to him, but if you can't even go into a proper tuck on the bike, it might be time to try another passtime.
I would have posted the pic if it was a rail-thin guy who was 7 ft tall as well. Ducatis (and sport bikes in general) just don't fit everyone.

Perhaps "why?" wasn't the right question... I've been asking myself what happens if I get too big to ride -- like I said, I feel I'm at the limit of height and weight for a Ducati and have started dropping the weight. I don't know what I'd do if I was 6'9" or 300 lbs. I don't think I'd be on a Ducati and I don't enjoy riding Goldwings.
