I used to drive long haul, and would chuckle every time I'd run thru Amarillo and see the "olden corral" sign off the 40. Thinking nice sign to put at a retirement home.

Ugh..that's the worse stretch going from Flagstaff through ABQ and then Amarillo to get to OK.

Me and the wife are driving down to Houston next week to visit her sister. I need to try to convince her that Houston sux and she should move to Austin, and how if she moved to Austin we would come visit her more often.

I assume that the elevation is going to be in the natural landscape where it's being built?  I didn't see the location but I heard that it was going to be out by the airport.  Is that true?  It's pretty flat out that way IIRC
