Not a particularly funny post. What are you, twelve?

Why would you think he was trying to be funny? I had no idea who this thread was about until I looked it up...

I'm glad you had the common sense to do so. How long did it take you to find the answer? I'll bet less than 30 seconds. Maybe the other guy should have done the same before posting his uneducated and/or NOT FUNNY post.

  Why all the attitude?
I'm sure that after 40+ years in broadcasting, it's inconceivable to some that some people might not know who Paul Harvey was. But as Chris pointed out, it is possible.

Rest in peace Mr Harvey. You will be missed. :(

No, but not a ton older than that either. No first name was mentioned. When someone says "Harvey" and expects me to know who they're talking about, I think of a six foot tall rabbit.

Searchnig for Harvey, or, Mr. Harvey net me news about a prominent burger joint, drinks (harvey wallbangers), the movie "Harvey", etc-nothing definitive. It wasn't until further in the thread that a first name was mentioned, until that time, I had *no* idea who was being discussed, so I asked, "Who?".

I don't understand why there was an assumption I was being sarcastic, nor do I appreciate the response.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

RIP.  He had been looking ill for a while but at that age I guess no one looks perfect.
Who insures the FDIC?

I used to listen to him around midday when I could get down south of Pt Arena & pick up KGO. Whenever Paul was coming on everybody wanted to listen to the rest of the story.  :'(

Now all I have left is Michael Savage. If he doesn't die of a stress induced heart attack soon.  [laugh]

Paul Harvey was cool.

"The rest of the story" brings back memories from my childhood.  Entertaining stuff right there.
