Thanks for the tip.  This one is the same style.  We may look into this Hyosung 250.

The 650 Hyosung looks decent too.  I want what they feel like to ride.  I think I would be more comfortable with a Honda over a Hyosung, but a test ride might change my mind.

Where are you located & do you have a dealer nearby? You'll definitely want to get a close look at them before you commit. We've got a Hyosung dealer here in town and while I really like the bikes -- especially for the price -- you are trading away some noticeable fit & finish when you compare them to the Japanese bikes. Might not be an issue on a first bike that she's going to own for a couple of years and then trade away, but I'd make sure to look at them closely first.

I do know you can make the 650 a competent track bike -- the head mechanic at our local shop races one and has consistently placed first through third in his class series over the past few years, which at least tells you the thing is finishing races.

I've never seen a Hyosung in person.  I've read of couple of reviews.  I was probably just enjoying the pictures.  I'm doubt I'd ever buy a Hyosung at this point.  Hyosung is sort of like Hyundai back in 1988.  I would have never considered a Hyundai back then.  Why would you when you could have bought a used Japanese car that was a much better car.  Now that 20+ years have past and their reputation has improved I might consider a Hyundai.  Still probably wouldn't buy one, but it might at least get some consideration.
