Maybe, but now I don't think the damper would clear my risers.   [roll]   [laugh]

LOL, yeah, and then there's that.   [laugh]

Nice.

Which kit did you start off with, and what else needed to be modded or made?

A fellow rider in the area had developed this mounting and we had the pieces fabricated then slightly modified to fully conceal the 'pin' bracket inside the key/ immobilizer shroud.

No kit available. I purchased the damper, a +5 flat link arm and a 34mm pivot pin.
An aluminum fixture was water jet cut to fit mostly inside and below the key housing then shaped to match the shroud. Some of the base of the plastic shroud had to be cut off to accept the fixture. The two threaded pins were removed and replaced with the fabricated part and some spacers to make solid contact so the two new bolts could be torques down. The pivot pin (from Scott) was placed into another boring with very close tolerances to accept the pin and with some grease.  Another fabricated aluminum part was jet cutted to hold the damper off the link arm and to center it about the steering stem. Works great and out of the way.
