That video doesn't show what, if anything, he may have done before the recording started. Five coppers don't just show up out of no where when you're at a servo, minding your own business. Doesn't help being belligerent when you're dealing with them either.

You have to be kidding.  I have ridden motorcycles for over 35 years and never been a member of an outlaw gang nor do I support them.  I fully endorse the police targetting criminals but the crimes act already provided police with the power to arrest drug dealers, burglars, rapists, murderers etc.  Never since Adolf Hitler has there been a country that had laws that were set against a class of people purely for their race, religion or beliefs.  They target anyone now riding a Harley wearing a vest with any sort of badge.  How a motorcyclist can endorse laws targeting motorcyclists is beyond me.  Target criminals using the crimes act mot motorcyclists.

You need to read the post you reply to. Like I said, I don't support the new laws in QLD either, but the video doesn't show if he broke any EXISTING laws to warrant the attention. Everyone is making the assumption he was just minding his business and doing nothing wrong, but you can't say that for sure from the video. Obviously something went on before he started filming, or there wouldn't have been 5(?) police standing around him.

If I don't have all the facts I prefer to not pass judgement.

Well, surprise surprise, looks like he didn't break any laws and was just minding his own business and doing nothing wrong and 5+ police were just harassing him.

It's getting worse. Now us lawyers are being labelled criminals just for representing people before the courts.  Lips Sealed
