OH crap!   Wow..  Glad you're alright.  I actually hit a big one on Wednesday morning, but was in my car.  She flew up probably 20ft in the air and I saw her flying over me out of the sunroof after she hit the front of my car.  $3500 in damage to the front of my car and I was only going maybe 30mph.  I couldn't help but think that if I'd been on one of my bikes, I'd probably be in the same boat the deer is in now.

Whoa..that's no joke!  Way to avoid the collision Yo!! 

I had a half dozen of those "pucker moments" riding back home to Lakeway in less than a year that we lived there.  For those who don't know the TX Hill country, Lakeway is about 15 miles outside of Austin.  It's a beautiful ride, with long sweeps all the way but the deer population there is outrageous!  One will not go a day without seeing several deer when driving through Lakeway.   They're typically grazing in people's front yards right along side the streets.  Riding the bike home after sundown out there was not fun at all!
