Few of you know that I picked up a track bike on my way back from DITR this year...While figuring out few of its ailments, I discovered a rather unusual (for me!) Dzus fastener that was missing on the damaged fairing...I spent a few days trying to discover this type online as I was only familiar with the standard clip type Dzus. I learnt about rivet types and this particular one referred to as Dzus Pro or D-ring type:
I found a referred website to get few of these Dzus fasteners pretty reasonably priced, including for the 1098 (not so cheap):

Here's where the bike is with new levers, frame sliders fixed, new Renthal grips and end bars. I'm on the work fixing the dent on tank and doing fiberglass work on fairings. It now rides well! More later, hopefully with some trackday pics...
