How did the rotors look?

Pretty toasted...  They were thinner than minimum safe spec.

I used to drive some pretty twisty mountain passes to get to work when I wasn't commuting by Duc.  Also, after 200,000 miles, they needed to be done.

Funny thing is... The rear drums are still at about 80% life left.    Grin

I find it disturbing that you're imagining me in a sauna, never mind the teletubbie aspect of it

My '02 Nissan Frontier hit 200,000 miles, then I drove it cross country.

I would >love< a Frontier.

Problem for me is the limitations being placed on me because SOMEONE in my house doens't want another vehicle around.

It has to be cheap, as in under 2 grand
It has to seat at least four.

That means a crew cab frontier and I've not found any that cheap that were worth a damn.  I've found a few that were aroudn 4k but that's not cheap enough for the Mrs.

I know that putting the purchase price at 2k means it needs work but repairs are invisible cost!

Have you considered lying?

I have a diesel F250 I got for 2800 recently. Seats four, tows, is cheap.

I'll sell it to you in the spring. I only need it until the big truck is on the road.

Unfortunately for you I want what it's worth, not what the previous buyer was desperate enough to take.  Tongue
