Entering the S2R in a bike Show on Saturday - Question.

G'day all
I've decided to cruise up to Kuranda on Saturday and enter the small bike show they are having up there.
Now I haven't been to a bike show for a while (mainly because there are never any up here) and I am going to enter the S2R for the show, there are 2 Ducati classes, Ducati (Current models) and Ducati Old, I don't know the cut offs as far as current and old, but obviously I'll be entering in the Ducati (Current models) class.
I am wondering if any of you guys do a Info/spec sheet?
To advise bystanders/judges of the Mods you've done, some basic model specs, that sort of thing, or is that a little to formal?
I was thinking of something small I could attach to the windscreen.
I'm used to the car show world where everyone puts out a menu board/sheet of the mods you've done, but is that just to wanky for the bike world?
As this show seems to be mainly a 4 hour bike show (it starts at 1pm) and then 12 hours of pissup and Boobies!
EDIT: Changed heading to reflect the subject a little better.

make sure you clean the chain
I guess a sign couldn't hurt. A couple of the bikes at the Ducati Concourse had info boards. They weren't massive or anything, but I found them interesting.

example from Concourse:
I reckon a sign will help come to think of it. Most people wouldn't know a Monster from a bar of soap, so a little sign will help them along.
p.s. boobies. concourse needed more boobies.

the trick with any bike show is to make yours stick out from the rest ,yes a little sign with details is good, but there are other tricks if your been to any shows before , get a ducati padock flag , and park your bike so it sticks out further and on an angle so people can see mods not just a front on view and remember clean your chain and a can of mr sheen to wipe bugs of

Yup,
- I take a padock stand. Standing your bike up-right Vs most bikes on a side stand helps stand-out.
- Information sheet. Ie model, year, CC;s, power, weight, top-speed, Kilometers traveled, modifications etc.
- Also if the mods are extensive, perhaps a large before photo to keep people interested and you point out the changes.
- I recommend Meguires NXT Final Touch and 2 rags. Wipe down the painted surfaces with one and the mechanical (including the tyres) with the other.
- Don't be afraid to talk to people, start the bike (if allowed) let them listen to that exhaust! Let them have photos with the bike if they like. Showing a personal interest means you care enough to share about it! (but don't brag, there is a difference
)
- Register with the judges early and make sure your in the right class.
- If they do give you a number to put on the bike make sure its not going to detract from all you efforts. One year I put the info sheet on the seat and people later told me it looked silly.
hope that helps. - Chris

You all know I don't know much about these things, but should you be letting the little bald man (..... Mr Sheen) anywhere near your chain as has been suggested recently?
I have heard many people saying not to use WD40, etc - would Mr Sheen be any different?
Apologies for the sidestep, but is it something you should be doing - show or not?

Best way to clean a chain is with chain cleaner and a rag

i wouldnt recomend the little bald guy as a chain cleaner but he is fantastic plastic and paint cleaner and will even remove tar and bugs , the bike should already be cleaned and polished but if riding there you will get covered in bugs and stuff so when you set up let your bike cool down set up and touch up things and check your bike a couple of times there will be a little polish thats been missed or a bug stuck there but most of all enjoy your self
