How do you know they were not giggling with glee?  I offer that they thought you and your bike were hot and they
wanted to ask you to do a three-some but thinking of asking you made them giggly.  As a general rule all monster riders are hot,
male or female, and very attractive to the opposite sex.  I bet that they are kicking themselves right now for not asking you wt:

I got laughed at by some hot chicks at a stop light because my clutch is so noisy. I'm guessing they thought my scoot was broken. That was not cool. Yes they were blond. No I did not get pics.
and you didn't laugh at them for them being completely clueless?

I was getting on my bike the other day and some dude in some shiny car (seriously, I can't remember the make, but it was something pretty nice), and he was telling his friend/father/older person "see, it's got the dry clutch"...

Bike wasn't started, otherwise I'd never have heard them over all the tambourine racket.  ;:|

Sometimes the loud clakity..clakity..clakity sound will annoy me simply because it's nice to just ride incognito, something that is very difficult with a full set of Termi's and an open clutch.

That being said, everyone who sees it generally has someting positive to say about it, except the Ducati haters, so I've always just left it open.

I am still undecided if I like the sound of the dry clutch. ...

Ok, that's quite enough now!  Time to leave!!  Angry

I had a guy come up to me a while back while I was getting ready to ride (bike was running)
"Man I love Ducatis.  That dry clutch sounds awesome!"
I have a 750.  No dry clutch.  I'm still not sure what sound he liked so much.
