ok FINALLY got some pics of the new shortened exhausts.

these are Roads Italia exhausts, round CF with CF special ends. I had them shortene by 80mm to better fit with the R&G Racing Tail Tidy.

had gotten caught in rain storm the day before so ignore the dirt. and not a word about stripes. lots of autobahn to and from work. the curvy roads i've starting using Lee Parks techniques so i'm leaning off more, leaving the bike upright more. there enough excuses  [bang]

i will try to figure out how to do a video clip cause they sound AWESOME. thump thump. had a guy that rides a 1800 Honda say to me those sound AGGRESSIVE. 1/3 the displacement and MY BIKE sounded aggressive  [thumbsup]

Nice Raux!!  [thumbsup]

Well, after much deep thought and consideration and even tho I REALLY wanted to work with the CRM's so damn badly, hubby "surprised" me with these:

The sound is awesome-the deep growl I was looking for!  Now trying to decide whether to add the LeoVince Stickers or nawt?  Kinda liking em without stickers.

NekkedChic, any chance you can make a quick vid clip of the exhaust?

Dang Nekid we are like cosmic twins. I also live in Florida, have a white 696, and a Red Mini Cooper...Clubman,
close enough I think. You've got excellent taste! Having a Duc and a Cooper, does that make us Euro-trash?

Nekkid,

are those red anodized pegs?

I can't wait until Thursday! My Leo Vince carbon EvoII's are en route from the warehouse in IL. I was switching back and forth for the longest between different systems. I was super close in hitting submit for the carbon Arrows but a SNAFU on my end kept me from doing it.
I think the price and lack of stickers (optional) on the canister of the LVs won me over. I'll post pictures and better sound clips on Thursday. There are only two sound clips on YouTube. One with the GP and one with the EvoII. Both are not that great.

I'm glad I'm off that day from work.  [moto]

Did you order them through monsterparts.com?  I'm thinking of going with the one's pictured above that NekkedChic has.  They look sweet and at $710 you can't beat the price.

Yep. Ordered them at Monsterparts.com  They are dropped shipped.

Then we gotta get together n ride sometime  [thumbsup]  Yup, Eurotrash think-alikes  [laugh]

Yup, red anodized Oberon studded Pegs, LUV EM!!!   Now, rearsets one day  ;D

LV are THE way to go, IMHO.  EVERYONE has Termis, I refuse to pay that much also.  Also, no need for full exhaust for me, personally-I may never ride the Monster to it's stock potential anyways  [roll]  Also, held off on stickers...think prefer without them now also!

First track day on Beastie Boy May 17th!!!  Wish me luck guys!  Also got an '04 SV650 track-only bike, but may only get few laps on it, considering hubby not moving up yet to Int so we wil need to share, damn it.  Still looking VERY much forward to rocking the Monster on the track  ;D ;D

So, for everyone that has a non-stock exhaust, have you had to do anything to make it run right?  Or has it run right from the get-go?  I ask because when I mentioned a couple non-Termi exhaust possibilities at my semi-local shop, I was told that I would need to open the airbox and an O2 manipulator.

no. you don't need either of those for just slipons.
the termi comes with the new airfilter, new computer and slipons (which eliminate the cats)
to get the SAME setup you CAN get a freeflow K&N and powercommander V or Two bros Juice box and slipons (which eliminate the cats)

but you can use just the slips ons (eliminating the cats) and still get a nice running and GREAT sounding bike

NekkedChic

guess I am repeating same question here maybe but.....
was also told, with Leo Vince's, slip-ons like I have shown in pic above...no need to do anything else either-no tunes etc RIGHT??????
I am gettin popping occasionally on deceleration, but via another thread, someone suggests likely a leak becuz of install?  Also double checking becuz I am coming up on 7500 service (owie) real fast here and should I ask them about a re-tune with these, or make sure I am not "taken" for one when never needed it.

tks again for putting up with me here guys!

I love popping on decel :) especially on an aggressive downshift to 1st in the city when I get to scare pedestrians.  [evil]
