Here's some quick pics of the brackets.  Im no aluminum welder, but Im getting the hang of it.  These brackets show what are probably my most aesthetic welds.

My friend (who kept my garage from burning yesterday) is out there working, thus the talk radio in the background [laugh]

I couldn't think of a simpler way to do it and meet the owner's requirement of no throttle cable.
