QUESTION:
I dig the look of Yellow headlights on older/vintage bikes, and was thinking about running one on the monster. Anyone currently running a yellow headlite ? If so where'd you pick it up ? I would rather run a yellow colored housing then just a yellow bulb (so it would still be yellow when it is off).

Anyone ?

+1 i wanted a yellow HID, but its too neon yellow. They say a yellow lens helps. Defintely dig the look!

Yup..
I mean you can rock a yellow headlite bulb, but when the bikes off it is still gonna be clear.
I am sure someone has a yellow headlite on their scoot (SPEAK UP ! [clap])..

France used to require yellow headlights - don't know if they still do.  Is there an ebay for France?

Here's a question:
Would a aftermarket headlite (say from a HD) or whatever work on a Monster ?
I remember I stuck a "jeweled" headlite that was intended for a HD into my old 70's CB750 cafe bike without issue.

Not entirely on the subject, but I run yellow H-11 bulbs for my car's fog lamps and they're awesome.  I picked up a pair of Nokya brand from fleaBay.  The idea is that the yellow light has a longer wave-length and will actually throw a longer beam in inclement weather (fog, etc...) than a standard white-light bulb.  It does take a little getting used to.  I mean... things in front of you will definitely appear more yellow.  When the lights are off, the reflector still gives the entire housing a bit of a yellow tinge.  I think they're cool.  Just type in H-4 yellow bulb on fleaBay and look for a good price.  Nokya brand has a pretty good track record.  The downside of the yellow film is that it has a tendency to melt/discolor/burn with prolonged use.

I used to run a yellow headlight on my CBR.  I liked it but i wouldn't do it if you ride a lot at night.  The white is better for lighting up the road.  I did it to make the bike stand out a bit more in traffic.  Just buy a yellow bulb and throw it in to see how you like it.

I allready ordered up the yellow film stuff, so once I get it put on we shall see how it looks.
