+1 on removing any cheap looking plastic piece that stickers peel off from.  Took mine off with the rear hugger a couple of years ago and never looked back.  Without the side panels the frame just opens up so nicely above the rear wheel.  And I figured that if the S2/4R's didn't come with a rear hugger stock, what the hell do I need one for??  Naked is as naked does!

How do you like that 1098 can on your monster? Do you have a soundclip?

It sounds great, I love it. I'll try and get some quality sound clips loaded up.  I went bigger on the piping along with the larger can to compensate with the 2 into 1 design.

cool, I'm looking to build myself a custom exhaust over the winter and you've done almost exactly what I was thinking. Nice work man.

I've always thought that was kind of a strange pics of the M1000SS, Stu.  Here's a better pic IMO, but still way off.

Old Pantah engine covers which ONLY fit the 600-800 engines.  The 900's and 1000's are different.  I picked those up on Ebay for like $50 shipped.  They're cast aluminum and really fit the bike...

Fixed.  Wink

P.S.  Penis belt covers are also stock on the '97 750.
