The nice one's always die.
Assholes live forever...
I've always wanted an orange tom...
We kept a couple from past litters...and they all died from the road or predators.
I'm pretty much done with pets.
I don't have the energy for them anymore.

Sorry to hear that,DP. Condolences to the family.
After going through the same thing with a couple of ours,we trained up our last one to wear a harness and put him outside tethered on a 75' nylon string. He was a good hunter even on the rope, you just had to untangle him once in a while.

Sorry about your kitty DP. We just got news that 13 year old Calvin has kidney disease. He's not long for this world.

Sorry to hear hiblam, we lost a wonderful sandy tabby to kidney disease, it's so hard to see that happen. My two black cats (We call them sentinels, they're 30lbs and guard us & our furry friends when sick) stood watch over him and laid down on either side of him as he was going. It was hard to see him go.
