I had a cat named Eggo who, topping out at 18 lbs, was a giant fatass of a neutered tom.
He raised/played with/tolerated 6 cats.
He always played well with them. But there came a point...
When they realized that he had paws that were, no shit, the size of half-dollars.
I miss that poor, crotchety, runt-of-the-litter bastard.

I can't wait until Marquez gets on his level and makes Jorge trip on his tampon string.

I white washed it, but left his eyes and nose alone.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the air—these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

We had some help remodeling the bathroom:
Pablo was securing the plastic drop cloth:
Spooky was checking the structural integrity of the floor: *note... Those are 18" tiles
Spooky is NOT a small cat. He was ensuring the ladder was safe:

Polydactyl, but not a hemingway. Notice the ears: part Bobcat.
Nine weeks old, and absolutely fearless. Already chasing the other cats around the house!

Had to put up this picture from this morning of our girl Yang, who gave us a real scare a couple of weeks back, losing about a third of her already meager body weight, vomiting, getting seriously dehydrated and enduring trips to the vet for a couple hundred dollars worth of "I'm not sure." Most likely, she'd gotten into something that triggered her severe food allergies to chicken or corn, but I was quite worried that it looked a whole lot like renal failure. Fortunately, she responded well to lots of tuna & designer canned cat food, to which her sister Yin had no objections either. While she's hardly chubby, Yang's got some bulk on her bones again, and seems happy to go back to bossing around the dogs.

I know that look.
"Why are you in here on the computer when my food bowl is empty?"
Glad to hear she's feeling better.
