Love the Black Fog Magnus. Clean and sinister all at the same time.

No motor upgrades...  personally I'd have to say it's got enough power for me, so never went down that path.

i agree magnus, i think i've got enough power and the tuning on the stock Foggy is so nice, i'm not sure i want to start doing trial and error tuning for the next year or so until it's right again. if i need more i'll save my money and start looking at the 848 or the 1098.

here's another bump  coffee

well my mods are coming slowly but surely. i've been researching and thanks to this forum i'm getting closer to what i want to do. i'm not sure if i'll ever equal magnus' or monstermash's foggy's but i'll be happy all the same. so i'm saving money so i can actually do it.

my tail light broke off their brackets the other day so i had to go and either get another beer tray, do the chop or go for a short tail. i went with the CF DP short tail. i won't do the chop unless i do the boomtubes. i think chopping would make the termi's stick out too much. but now the blinkers are standing out like a sore thumb... Roll Eyes
oh, and the mickey mouse ears are going in 2 weeks to be replaced with rizoma prototype's.

here's my first bling mod... [moto]

That CF rear tail is perfect with your Termi setup... I hate to see the pipes sticking out 6 inches from the tail... I wish they made it in some other material besides CF.  All of your bikes are f-ing SICK.  Keep up with the pics so I can keep drooling.

looks good...  if you chopped the tail, you'd have to chop the cans or go with the boomtubes or something else.

definately get rid of those mirrors and the signals, though!!!

Alright you Foggy dudes! Here is MY story!
I had an '01 Monster S4. I LOVED the bike, but had to sell it a few years ago to buy equipment for a new business.
I've regretted it ever since. So, after all these years of crying myself to sleep at night, my wife 'suggested' I look at another Duc. Well, off to the dealership I drove, first thing in the morning.
I was eyeing a used Monster, since people seem to put all the goodies on them, and sell them for much less then their investment (just like I did with my '01 S4).
On the showroom floor, they had an AWESOME Foggy with only 800 miles on it. I was looking for a used S4Rs, but I've always loved the Foggy, and when it came out I tried to get one, but it was too rich for my blood. Especially since the dealerships were taking full payment as a deposit. Yikes!
The Foggy appeals to me because of it's exclusivity, looks, and extra ride height. I am tall, and my S4 always seemed a bit short for me.
Anyway, the dealership was asking WAY too much for this used Foggy. And after a week of fighting, they wouldn't budge on the price. They wouldn't come down past $13,500, which is just crazy! Yes, it has low miles, but it was bone stock. I want a FEW goodies.
So, I was doing some searches on the Foggy on Google and found one in Indy. But by the time I contacted them, it was sold.
Finally, I found one buried deep in the bowels of the Google search. It was an add in Craigslist from San Fran.
I contacted the owner (great guy), and to make a long story short (actually, it's too late for that), the bike is en-route to Denver right now, and I hope to have it in the next few days.
It has 4000+ miles on it, but has been taken care of better than the bike with 800 miles at the dealership. The shippers couldn't find one scratch or scuff on the entire bike to mark on the pickup sheet! It also has a few extra tricks installed, including all the Monster 'must-haves': Tail chop, open air box, open clutch cover, Ducati performance carbon tank covers, Carbon front fender, Ducati performance mirrors with integrated turn signals, and on, and on.
So now, I no longer cry myself to sleep. But I am actually having trouble sleeping!

I was going to wait and post when I actually had the bike in my possession. But I gave in to temptation.

Now I am trying to figure out if I will be riding it by the weekend, or will the gods of patients force me to wait until early next week to take delivery? THE HORROR!

Cheers from Denver,
Bryan...
