No, but it did look suspiciously like one of those sweet potato french fries from the burger joint that IZ took me to.  Some color coming back up too.  ;)

Cute shot! But do I detect a little bit of a "Help me! The cat's holding me hostage!" look there in the pup's eyes?   [laugh]

Baaahhhhh.    [bang]

Caught a stray pit tonight.  Scared to death (yes, that would be both the dog and I were afraid of each other).  While on the phone w/animal control, the owner in a heap of crap piece of van showed up and "claimed" him.  AC said I had to release the dog but not w/o getting the address from the guy.

As he said it, AC who was still on the phone w/me confirmed it and shared that they would check on the dog since it HAS AN INDUSTRIAL BOAT ANCHOR TYPE CHAIN EMBEDDED IN ITS NECK!

I had no where to go with the dog so I had to let it go to the guy.   :'(

At least you got AC involved.

That was a good move.

You did that dog a favor.

you did a good thing.........hopefully AC will check up on the dog. Maybe you could phone them back to check up on AC checking up on owner.

That's the plan.   I'm considering a purchase of a nice normal collar (or harness) for the dog and dropping it off.  But don't want to do that either any time soon in case AC shows up and the neck chain is gone and the dog is sporting a nice new piece of neckwear.

I'm hopeful.  Otherwise, I'll drive myself crazy.
