Are they as docile (and squeeze-ably adorable) as they look?!
I can see why you have SIX!

Left to right, who is whom?  #4 and #5 are about evenly lined up
so let's say #4 will be the one at the top....

Mother, funny pics!  The one of Bella and Grace looks like one
of the LOL cat pics.    [laugh]

From left to right,

#1:  black and white papillon (?) . . . Sedici.  She is a former stray that Joel spent two days coaxing out from alongside a Sea Train storage container at a former job.  That was about 2 years ago.
#2:  black Schnauzer-mix in the dog bed . . . Tiffany.  She is one of my dad's dogs that moved in when Dad was hospitalized this summer.
#3:  brown and white papillon (?) . . . Desmo.  I found him on the freeway after he'd been hit by something.  He eventually lost a leg from the accident.  We've had him for almost 4 years.
#4:  brown mutt at the top . . . Lewis.  He is a stray that I found at my sons' school about a year and a half ago.  He's adorable, and as dumb as a brick.
#5:  black lab . . . Leela.  She was found by the owner of a local pet store and is the most loyal and devoted dog I think I've ever had.  We've had her for about 6 years.
#6:  brown mutt in the dog bed . . . Taffy.  She is the other dog of my dad's that we inherited this summer.
My "ride" info:

You bring him out this way and I'll take you up on that.

The office is dog-friendly so when I'm there I get my share of dog type attention.  It helps keep me unproductive.   ;D

Well, if you wouldn't have had those hippy-dippy sweet potato snacks laying around...  ;)

The s/o never gave your dog a treat!

So that means Emma doesn't qualify as a "real dog"?
Or did she pack on a bunch of weight lately?

;)

She's not!  She's a footwarmer..like most small breeds.  [cheeky]

Anyone have an American mastiff?   Offshoot of British mastiff.  Slightly smaller (130ish versus 160ish).  Bred for better hips.   Looking for next giant breed to replace the best st Bernard.   A pair of sisters would be great office dogs.

My wife and I actually looked at this breed for the same reason you are.

However, they really aren't much smaller. You would be lucky to find a 130lbs female, that would be a very small one. Females Average like 140-160.

There is a breeder in Ohio we looked at; not many exist.

It is one of those "niche" breeds so from my research, we found the breeders to be very pompous individuals.

I am not filling out a 10 page life story to buy a 2,000$ dog. Reference, credit references, etc etc.

No thanks, however, if you are interested in the dog (as the are cool, just not a good fit for our living situation, but then again, Tag is going to turn out to be about 130), shoot me a PM and I'd be glad to pass on my research to you.

Daddy,

Can you take me up to bed so I can drool on your pillow yet??

Here is his massive right front paw. As you can see, we get each of our dogs paw prints (we take them with an ink pad) and get them inked them on our arms. God Rest his soul, but the little buddy print will get a memorial inking next to it tomorrow, as well as touch up on my other ink as the shop owner had this shitty artist working for him at the time and didn't fill mine very well, so he is touching those up. Also, Tag's paw will also be joining my arm. Of course, it will have to be shrunk down accordingly so it fits!

The dogs napping Sunday morning before I took them for a romp at the dog park.

Taggart had a date with my neighbors girlfriends 1.5yr old Mastiff.

They got along great and he didn't try to hump her on the first date

and can't forget my princess. She is getting a bit harder to take to the park. As she is getting older, more of her inherent "traits" are starting to show and sometimes she gets a bit out of line. Her Mom had the same temperament when we met her. She never cared who came in the house before; now she always will sit on your foot, look at the person, look at you, stare them back down, and then wait for the final approval the individual is ok.
