May be a dumb question..but how do you even have a Pitbull in Hawaii?!  I thought they were on the black list there.

pitbulls are like the hawaiian national dog here.

WTH..what kind of dog does the neighbor have?

The neighbors have a small little bulldog and a black lab. We have a gate between the two yards and for almost a year we would let their dogs come over to play with our dogs. Other than their dogs getting out somehow, there was never a problem. So the other day we put our dogs over there, well actually just Yoda because Tuscany the Bacon/skunk dog didn't want to go. So we had the three dogs at the neighbors while we replaced the front door, and kept an eye on Tuscany after I got the new door in we ran down to the county recorders office to record the deed to our house (we just bought it). When we came back Yoda had been killed.

More details later....

no more details, that's enough talking about that.

So I am ashamed at how long it has taken me to get pictures up of our dogs.

Here is my wife with our first rescue. Porter is a dachshund mix and does not like the snow.

Here is our "big dog" Desmo. 60 lb. rescue and was labeled as a "border collie mix".

He does have the love for the snow, although it is a pretty rare sight in Austin.

Here is a link to my wife tormenting him with the amazing disappearing ball trick!

Desmo acts a lot like our Boxer/Shepherd mix!

This should be captioned "Alright Dad... punch it."

Every time I meet a new group of your friends that understand you and your weird sense of humor I'm a little more amazed that there are other people in the world like you that lived through childhood - My loving girlfriend

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

So the territorial Jack Russell that will chase a bird or strange cat to the ends of the Earth is finally mellowing out. Since Calvin the cat stole Lucy's big dog pillow (the plaid one on the left) she laid down on the couch. I know she's likes to sleep with my worn shirts so I covered her up with one. Calvin likes the shirts too. He looked at it, looked at her, and apparently thought, "What the hell." Laid down right on top of her.

Grace starts phenylpropanolamine tomorrow for her incontinence that started in December. Has anyone else dealt with this issue?

Yep. Our Great Dane Emma is incontinent. She takes Proin (same medicine as far as I can tell) tablets every day...75mg at night and 50mg every other morning. She's a big dog though (120-130 lbs). It isn't a big deal, and the Proin is very effective.

I've found giving a dose right before bed is the most effective, as they tend to be lazy at night and leak. They're better about going outside when they need to during the day.

Jesus. I've had nights like that. Wake up and wonder how you didn't drown in a puddle of your own drool during the night.

Great pic.  [thumbsup]

I can't wait until Marquez gets on his level and makes Jorge trip on his tampon string.
