Here was My boy Deuce.  He passed away earlier this year due to a bladder tumor. That was one of the hardest days of my life. This picture was the first time he ever saw the ocean.  We took both of our dogs to Hilton Head a few summers back.

Below him is Katie Jo.  She's our little Westie. 

Scotties and Westies!!!   Had one Scotty, currently have another.  Had three Westies.  And a few Cairns as well.  Yeah, I like the Scottish breeds =)   I either held, or my ex-wife held, each of the ones that we had to let go when the moment came.  They knew they were loved from the moment they entered our lives until their eyes closed for the last time.  Each and every single one of them is remembered fondly and will for the rest of our lives.

Meet:  Maximus!

Our new foster but only until 9/12.  Story is that an adoptive household on the east coast found him somehow, someway but currently flooded out because of Irene.  Apparently confident enough that by 9/13, life for all will be good so they already purchased an airline ticket for him. We say goodbye on 9/12, back to the shelter for a night he goes and then they ship him off the next morning.

RAT:  No idea where on the east coast he's going but if you want, we can maybe investigate that little detail so you can intercept him and "borrow" him for a few days....
