i like that it's not pitch black when i wake up, but
i'm soooo going to be pissed when it gets dark while i'm still at work  :-\

herm

i have not heard a convincing argument for DST / ST.
lets split the difference, and move on

It just makes it easier for me to get up & drive when my phone rings at 4:30AM ~

Well, actually it is not a Law. Several counties in Indiana do not observe DST.

Indiana finally went to DST in the last year or so (unfortunately). Arizona and Hawaii are the only States that don't observe it these days.

I personally hate DST. It takes me at least 6 weeks for my body to adjust to the change.

Leave it to to the stupid totalitarian government to try and control time

we are having oddly warm weather this week in WI, this morning i got up at my normal time, but the sun already coming was up.  I went outside at 6:50 and started up the bike, it was 60F and the sun was rising.  wonderful.  my ride to work was nice.  it felt like september, and i was happy.

at about 4:30 i was working away like a good little lemming and happened past a window.  make the beast with two backs it's dusk.  i left at five and it was dark, still warm, but dark.  riding home in my tinted shield, i was not happy

I love it. In the summer you can surf until 9pm or so.

I went for a ride this afternoon and had to re-plan my route because I suddenly remembered that it was going to get dark at 5 PM.

Dude, headlight, look into it.  ;D

It really is just so great to live in a DSTless place.  It seems to be an incredibly useless practice.

I like the falling back bit, cause now it's only 5 hours to the east coast (well, you know what I mean).  Otherwise the whole thing is a sham.  A sham I say!

Your country.  [laugh]  You don't live in Hawaii any more or did you Hawaiians official succeed from the Union?

Personally, I hate DST. Arizona never observed it (except for the Indian Reservations). Now, the sun goes down as I am driving home. 4:40 sunset? Really?

We're on standard time now.

This is the way it is in New England in the winter.

You want DST year round?

None of it matters to me.
It's always dark when I leave in the morning and 90% of the time it's dark when I get home anyway.

Yes. I'd rather have light later in the day. Who cares if you have to get up in the dark. Getting out of bed sucks whether it is light or not.  ;D
