I've never seen them in the same place at the same time. Have you?

I can't wait until Marquez gets on his level and makes Jorge trip on his tampon string.

That bike was built by Tony Hannigan (sp?) of Australia. He's got pics of the build on his site.

Beautiful bike, but unless the frame is built out of Rearden Metal, I don't see how it can provide the necessary structural rigidity that a bike that heavy needs if it's going too see any real use at all..

Forgive me, but I have a soft spot for two-strokes...

Yes, it's missing the front fender. So kill me!

You'll like what I'm going to do to my `74 R5 then...  ;D ;D

It's a mildly modified stock 860 frame from the day, so it's just as rigid as any other bevel twin from the era. I guess it depends on what you consider to be "real use".

Here's a shot of a stock frame from a '74 750.

Here's my before and after pics.  I posted some info earlier in this thread but finally have new (shitty) pics

I hammered out the rear section by hand and the front cover where the guages used to be.  red paint on the tank and rims as well as flat black on the tail, tank, and fender.

I like it much better now but still need to do something with the side covers.  I'm thinking of getting some of the small ammo cases and modifying them to fit in the side covers so i can have some tool and other storage.... we'll see.

I still have to get the seat finished all the way to the rear up the curve.

Hey powerhammer,  how does it handle?

I have a chance to pick up a 650 for really cheap, witha cafe project in mind, I just want to know if it will be worth my time and money.

the_Journeyman

That's aweseome!  It's a shame I let my CB550 go.  Maybe I really should jump on the KZ750 I've found locally...

That bike is absolutely stunning.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

I think you've got that backwards.

:P

i was referring to uncle granpa nate's super cool avatar.  that avatar got me banned on TOB for a week, even though I had it up for a few months before.

(edit:  my uncle is nate)
