Some people are like Slinkies. They're really good for nothing; however, they can still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

I'm thinking about it. Hopefully I'll have the cash and my wife can get the time off.

I'm a wus, my ass won't like me after a 10+ hour ride out there.  Plus I just not set up for long distance touring.  My wife is getting her license this year so it wouldn't be the best of ideas to have her ride out also.

I was hearing the Project Mugello seats weren't going to be the best.  I'm still in a toss up between getting those or something else.  The price for those is the best part but I still want good seats.  What are y'alls thoughts?

I thought seriously about the project Mugello seats and thought for a moment that the only advantage for me is to be closer to the pits and amidst the Ducati Island antics...I can use the walking to get around as I am not the slender man I once was...so I had no problem with the idea of walking around to see and hear and experience more, as apposed to getting sucked into a Ducati only world that might be hard to get out of otherwise...motivationally speaking anyways...and then I looked at track layout and thought also about what I want to see out of the bikes...I want to see them dice and turn and power out and so I chose "H" stand seating and am happy with that choice...especially after talking to a buddy here at work who is also going who has been there for F-1 cars in the past and he agrees with me and will be in the same stand...

I was thinking the exact same thing.  I'm still in a toss up between H or SW Vista.  I'm mainly considering the SW Vista cause you can see them come down the straight into the chicane and it's still close to everything...  I'm lazy and I'm proud of it!

I had H, based on extensive research - but at the end of the day it is abput the experience for me, I had some of the best seats at all the tracks in Europe for 2 years when King Kenny kicked some butt, and also Fast Freddie when he won his first GP at SPA, it was great but I'm betting being with a bunch of Ducasti on this special day at Indy will be worth it, so I gave up my H seats. Naturally I will record the thing as well, and of course this all asummes the damn weather cooperates. - Gene

Ooooooo...are pitbikes allowed??.....LOL

Dolci brought up a valid point though....half of the experience as I was saying before was being out and about and looking at everything as far as peoples and things....so it is an entire experience and not just a Ducati centric one which can be easily acheived if you stay in the Ducati Island Vortex

I just got my tickets for the H section.  My conscience wouldn't let me just lie and say I was a member of a club.

They did ask who the club prez is, so you can't just say you are.  But I'm sure you could have asked someone.   [evil]
