Kind liking Brad Pitt's retro ducati... Anybody recognize what the bike is/was?

Well after some treatment with 1200 grit rubbing compound, scratch remover and a good wax job I'm a lot happier with the paint job:

Zaster I am so happy you got the paint buffed out. Would have been a shame to have a bike that beautiful only, as you said "from 50 yards". My dad & I use to buy & sell 50's-60's cars, and that was his line also. Congrats !
Dusty & I went over to Danny Ballys shop today to see Mark Barnetts (Barnett Harley-Davidson) latest creation. I have been around 2 & 4 wheel racing my whole life, and today we heard a street bike that gave me chills. Sounded like a bored...& heavily, red lining at 18K stroked V8. Here is his 2007 F4 1000 with the complete Fast By Ferracci / MV race motor. 63K + 30 in extra mods, body work, paint, carbon & brembo motocross bars & lowered controls. Mark had Leukemia & spent 6 month in a bubble (no shit), where he ended up cured (aint money funny?), but with savere back & joint pain. Being an ex road racer, he still wanted this style of bike, so Danny re-did the top tripple & rear sets so he wasn't so scrunched up. Oh, heres the best part. 212 HP at the rear wheel, red line: 18K
And for all the 1098 riders, the body work & tail section come off with
8 Dzus fasteners
(yes thats how you spell it).

and now I can't tell you where it is or it may disappear (especially if you hear it). Also, wish we could have gotten better pics of the carbon fiber. It was the prettiest I have ever seen (almost didn't look real). Lots of work to be done and KB and I get to watch the progress, so we will post as we go. Fun stuff!
